Six year olds Hailey and Victoria (Tory) have a lot more in common than just their age. They both live in Austin, are patients at the same hospital, and on the exact same day they received the same diagnosis, leukemia. While spending time together during their treatment, the two girls formed a very special and unique bond. At the hospital, they also met Jackson, a 4-year-old boy from Austin also diagnosed with leukemia. The three of them developed a very close friendship.

When the Make-A-Wish® volunteers visited them at their homes, they discovered that Tory, Hailey and Jackson all had the same wish, a trip to Walt Disney World® Resort. Knowing it would be even more special if three could go together, the Make-A-Wish staff went to work planning three unforgettable Disney trips. Tory, Hailey, Jackson and their families headed to the “Happiest Place On Earth” in December 2008.

While at the Walt Disney World® Resort, the kids rode every ride, met the famous Disney characters, saw many of the classic attractions, took backstage tours, and the list goes on forever! But their favorite part? The Magic Kingdom® of course! It was a special trip filled with wonder and laughter and all the magic that only Disney has to offer.
