The Make-A-Wish Foundation® of Central & South Texas is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Since 1984 the Central & South Texas chapter has granted more than 2,800 wishes to children with life-threatening medical conditions. During fiscal year 2009, our volunteers and donors made it possible for 233 children in our area to experience the magic of a wish.
Children from 40 counties in the central and southern regions of Texas benefit from the efforts of this chapter of the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
Of each dollar spent by the Central & South Texas chapter in fiscal year 2008, eighty-five (85) cents was devoted to the Foundation’s mission, well above that required by the nation’s leading charity watchdog groups.
