Wish kid, Ella, is a four-year-old from Cedar Park, Texas. Although she was diagnosed with leukemia, Ella remained an active, courageous girl with a dream of visiting Disney World. Make-A-Wish® Central & South Texas teamed up with Manor Independent School District and Pioneer Crossing Elementary School to ensure that Ella and her family would have an unforgettable experience at Disney World.
After a celebratory pizza party, Ella and her family hopped on a flight to Disney World for a week of fun. Ella was accompanied by her mother, Kari, her father, Christopher, and her brother, William. Before leaving, Ella said she was most excited about riding all the fun rides.
To her excitement, Ella’s experience was filled with Disney rides, horseback riding, and meeting her favorite Disney characters! Ella and her family had a great experience while making her most cherished wish come true.
Ella and her family stayed at the Give Kids the World village which caters specifically to sick children like Ella. Give Kids the World even made arrangements for Ella to meet her favorite characters! Every night was filled with amazing firework shows, her favorite foods, and quality family time.
Thank you Manor I.S.D. and Pioneer Crossing Elementary School for turning Ella’s wish into a reality. Make-A-Wish staff and volunteers enjoyed making Ella’s most treasured wish come true and wish Ella and her family all the best!
