Patton is a three-year-old boy from Austin, Texas. He was diagnosed with Burkitt’s lymphoma which attacks the lymph nodes. After being referred to Make-A-Wish®, the organization went to work with Patton’s wish adopter Milton J. Verret to make sure he would see his most desired wish come true. Patton wished to travel to San Diego, California to visit LEGOLAND.

Before he knew it, Patton was in San Diego, with his parents, Patton Sr. and Katherine and his little sister, Hallie. The family was able to experience a San Diego vacation and made many cherished memories along the way.

Patton and his family visited LEGOLAND on their very first day in San Siego. After spending an entire day playing, building and discovering LEGOLAND, they visited the famous San Diego Zoo. Their last adventure was to SeaWorld which was the perfect ending to Patton’s wish experience!

Patton’s mother, Katherine, said the trip was incredible.

“We are truly blessed to have been nominated,” Katherine said.  “Thank you so very much!”

Patton made the most of his wish and had an amazing time in San Diego. Make-A-Wish staff and volunteers were overjoyed to grant Patton his most desired wish and wish him and his family hope, strength and joy!
